EDVARD MUNCH - THE DANCE OF LIFE
A unique flamenco play about Norwegian visual artist Edvard Munch. Directed and choreographed by Katja Lundén, the work tells Munch's life story through flamenco, describing his relationship with women and existential anxiety. The clash of the sexes is also represented by a role reversal: Lundén plays Munch herself, while Sampsa Peltonen is Munch's dream woman. Munch's paintings are projected on the background and further illustrated by the dancers. Actress Sara Paavolainen is the voice of Munch. More »
